The main goal of Ceramics-etc is to offer a wide range of handmade and original ceramic products from Portuguese artists in one place. Portugal has a long cultural tradition of ceramic due to their natural access to the clay pits. Today, clay is still amply used as an art medium. There you will be able to find a variety of pottery (vases, decorative plates, ect), jewelry and other artistic sculptures from Portuguese ceramists.

Initially, the idea of this webshop came from the will to help and promote a few Portuguese ceramists who lost everything in the big fires in 2017. Nowadays, the circle of quality artists and artisans proposed in the website has not stopped to grow. The people behind Ceramics-ect always visit the workshops of the ceramists they are willing to promote first in order to only propose good quality products. Besides the growth of the catalog proposed, the main objective continues to be to promote and help the artists.
